Personable Chair-Side Manner
After several brutalizing and painful episodes with my former so-called "comfort" dentist, I took my bride's recommendation to visit with her dentist, Dr. Flath. He had just moved from the local mall location, and she had followed him to the new Grand Central location, assuring me that it was worth the extra travel to be able to continue utilizing his services. She was right. Dr. Flath has a very personable "chair-side" manner.
He is calm and patient, and takes the time to find out all he can about my concerns and questions. If he does not have the information immediately at hand he will tell tell me so, and gets back to me when he does. His professional knowledge seems to extend beyond his years, and I am impressed by his proficiency.

From the moment I came in I was greeted with warm smiles. The front desk staff made me feel very comfortable and explained all my options. Dr. Flath was very soothing and made me feel relaxed and the front desk gal made it affordable and was able to work her magic to fit my treatment into my budget with a 0% payment option!!!! It was a great experience.
Made Me Feel Relaxed and Welcome
Dr. Flath was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and made me feel welcome and relaxed. I could have taken a nap while getting some cavities filled! The hygienists at this office are also very knowledgeable, and stay current on new research and publications; my hygienist was able to give me new advice on using my electric toothbrush based on a recent study.

I like Dr Flath. I've only just started using him as my dentist about a year ago, but so far he's good. He fixed two of my front teeth when I chipped them in a sports accident. He didn't get it 100% right the first time and there were absolutely no ego problems when I had to go back. Some dentists will argue theres nothing wrong or completely ignore you or even drop you as a patient if there are any complaints, not flath he fixed everything and did a great job. Doctors and dentists should be accountable for thier work just like mechanics or any other profession, actually even more so since it's our body they work on. I recommend Flath, good dentist and good guy.
